This is a good news for Google products fans living in India, the Chromecast has been launched in India by Google, with its price very-very low, compared to the mobile phones that are sold.

But before that, lets see the features of the Chromecast, as it is not famous among Indian people. It casts/streams videos and pictures directly to your TV, from your mobile phone or tablet, using your WiFi or Internet connection. Previews:

Get your Android Phone or tablet screen to yourself:

When you are not casting, the TV becomes a beautiful backdrop filled with images you can customize.

There are more than 60 apps that work with Chromecast, it is awesome! :D It is simple, just plug and play! It's time to buy it now! ;)
GMail, probably the best email service in the world. It has taken another step to prove it is the best! Now you can edit documents created by MS Office, through Google Docs directly from your inbox! :D Brilliant!

The list of format of documents editable includes 15 less used document formats from MS Office like .pps and .ppsx.

Cool, Isn't it? You get the documents, without downloading it, you can edit it, it will automatically save the initial file and the edited file to Google Drive, seems revolutionary. :)
Many people, after the death of Phillip Hughes, are saying not even 2 bouncers should be allowed in an over, that according to me, isn't actually right. The death of Phil Hughes was due to misjudgment of a bouncer and not just a bouncer alone.

Not the rules, but the safety standards of cricket need to be increased. It should not be forgotten that Phil was wearing a Masuri helmet which didn't have any protection for the area he was struck at, the helmet was an outdated one.

Here is a comparison between an Indian Helmet and the one Phil was using by TOI. Indeed, an Indian helmet might have saved Hughes! :(

No matter how expensive it is, we should always choose the safest, if we are safe, we can earn much more in the future. Don't compromise on safety, you can show off later!
Phil Hughes who was hit by a bouncer bowled by Sean Abbott during a match between South Australia and New South Wales, is no more with us! This simply proves how dangerous our game can be at times!

"Cricket is the matter of life and death every ball, if its to your head, you need to face it, or else, if you miss it, you are on the verge of extinction!"

He died at the age of 25 years 362 days, just 3 days before his birthday! He was admitted to St.Vincent's Hospital, Sydney after being hit, even a helicopter came to take him off from the stadium!

An hour of play was suspended from the Pakistan vs New Zealand in memory of Phil Hughes.

This was his last drive:

And later he was hit on the head:

He was declared dead on 27 November, 2014.

Just like eBay being the first Indian reseller of Google Nexus 9. Flipkart is going to be the first Indian reseller of Google Nexus 6! Isn't the news great?! The most trusted online retailer of India is going to launch Google Nexus 6 on it's platform soon! :D

It's going to be sold for Rs.48,999, that's quite expensive, more than the Google Nexus 9 tablet itself! But think about it, that is not a phablet, this has many more features than that, have a look at this video:

Book it now! You might not get enough time after it's release, it has many Buyers waiting! ;)
Many of us saw the mysterious tweets on Virat Kohli's twitter Handle, and wondered what he could have been pointing at.

So, nothing to be mysterious about, it's all a marketing campaign, for the new breakaway Youth Fashion brand named 'Wrogn' which Virat told in a tweet:

So, the #Worgn saga is over. Follow @Staywrogn

Just 20 days ago, Gmail announced it's material design app for all android devices. People with the latest Gmail app will have to fight another dilemma, a better version of Gmail is here, and it's only by invite this time! :o

The User Interface looks awesome, simply awesome!

Have a look at this:

Beautiful, isn't it?

It even adds reminding powers, just type 'Remind me to' and put your work to do, it will save it and remind you at the right time.

You can also snooze reminders and other messages:

The biggest problem is it doesn't support multiple service providers user names, like the Gmail app did! It is an invite only app, You will have to send an email to inbox@google.com to request an invite.

Just half an hour before this post was published, the world witnessed he greatest (Not probably, I don't think it's the greatest) innings of all ODI times! Rohit Sharma's epic 264 off 173 balls, I'm not talking about tests here, it's ODIs, where making even a hundred is tough!

Imagine someone on strike, just keeping to hit the ball over the boundary rope, that's what Rohit Sharma did today. He is also called No-Hit, and also Hitman. He proved to be the second one today, hitting the ball continuously without any mercy.

Rohit was making a series debut for India in this match, he had already hit a hundred in a practice match against the same team. And it's a dream comeback after a lot of time! It was surely something to remember with a record score of 264. He came in as a opener along with Ajinkya Rahane, as Shikhar Dhawan has been rested, and MS Dhoni too. So Rohit was pretty lucky about it.

The support went on decreasing on the other end, but Rohit Sharma was tough, and Virat too, they two shared a 200-run 3rd wicket partnership. And in the end, the last 10 overs were a treat to watch for the fans, as the batsman went on hitting. The total score went on to 404, which was unpredictable even with a run rate of 10/over in the last 10 overs.

The batsman broke the record for the highest score in ODIs being 219, by Virender Sehwag by 45 runs, unbelievable. Even the record of Shikhar Dhawan with 261 in domestic ODIs was broken!

He became the first person ever to score 2 double hundreds in ODIs! :D
Google has never been behind in releasing updates, especially beautiful ones. It launched Android 5.0 Lollipop, which is the latest release of Android, on November 3, 2014, 6 days earlier than this blog post was made.

You will simply love the kind of mobile OS Google has released, the best till now, easy, smooth, elegant, beautiful or should I say, no words to say! This version of Android, titled as 'Android L' is full of things a person would be amazed by.

To start with, the home screen, the screen you land on after turning on the mobile phone or tablet. The home screen of Android 5.0 is full of material design, flat icons, and beautiful home screen, with a flat and responsive wallpaper.

This video introduces you to the material design of Android:

The first thing anyone would notice here is the navigation button, softer and smaller, which please the eyes a lot:

Then comes the  apps menu, a thing one wouldn't expect is that it is much like a folder and doesn't open the menu, though much confusing with an actual folder, it is still a good move by Android developers.

They have made the header transparent, and much compact, this makes it much more attractive, every single move that Google has taken here has produced a good result. With sliding and scrolling options in the header, it is one way to go! :D

Maybe I forgot about the lock screen, it too looks beautiful enough, that too with lesser content. Google has taken a step further by adding a feature that shows you notifications even on the lock screen, I actually don't like this feature as anyone can turn on the phone and see the notifications I got:

Account synchronizing has taken a step much beautiful, here is a screenshot:

One of my most favourite features in this version is the no disturbance feature, if you are playing a game, or doing something you cannot afford to miss, it simply gives you notification on incoming calls directly on the header, here's a screenshot from Expert Reviews:

The keyboards have been significantly modified, with some gap between alphabet keys in 4.4 KitKat to no visible borders between keys in 5.0 Lollipop, looks delicious :P :

If you are a mobile phone user, the dialer and contacts are sure to impress you. Though these two vary from Manufacturer to manufacturer, you can get a little bit confused, but the base would be same in all.

The new Android 5.0's got a battery saver, that sucks every bit of your battery to extend it by upto 90 minutes!!!! It was introduced under the Project Volta by Google which aims to extend the battery life of devices.

The new calculator is pretty, it's simply materialistic with features much like that of the iOS 8.1. It has some pretty elegant colours:

Although you can change many settings directly from the header, I like to do it from the settings tab, much because of it's fluid design:

Like Jellybean and KitKat, Lollipop has it's secret game as well, much like Flappy Birds. It hopes fill the gap left by Flappy Bird:

And in the end, my favourite update, the multitasking, much better , beautiful and responsive and materialistic than all the versions combined:

This is the unprecedented king of Android versions! My overall rating: 4.9 stars out of 5(Reduce 0.1 star for the lock screen notifications)

A short note: LG G3 is gonna get the Android 5.0 first after HTC and other Google partners, be ready to grab it before it runs out!
Indian fans are obsessed with good news since the last 2 weeks, first the series win against West Indies, and then the two consecutive wins against Sri Lanka. And now, with the win against Sri Lanka, they have cruised to the number one spot in ODIs.

However, the future isn't easy:

Here's how the teams could be lined up by the end of Australia's 5-match home series against South Africa:
Scenario 1: India beat Sri Lanka 4-1.
  • If Australia beat South Africa 3-2, they will outsmart India for the first place.
  • If South Africa beat Australia at least by a margin of 4-1, they go ahead of India.
Scenario 2: India beat Sri Lanka 5-0.
  • If Australia beat South Africa 4-1 or 3-2, India will stay No. 1
  • If Australia win 5-0, they will edge India for the No. 1 spot.
  • If South Africa beat Australia at least by a margin of 4-1, they go ahead of India to regain the top spot.
Scenario 3: Even if India beat Sri Lanka by a margin of 3-2, they will lose the No. 1 ranking after the Australia-South Africa ODI series produces its first result.

It's the date the Cricket player manager was about to release, the Black Hole Games had announced the release of this game on 25th Oct. So let me introduce you to this premium game for Android:

It is a comprehensive player management game, unlike other games, this allows you to only manage one player out of a team. Even managing one player makes it tough, which is the best part of the game! ;)

Literally, you are the manager of the player, your objective is to take the grade 2 player from the beginning to the top of the world, which is the selection in the national squad, this can be an inspiring story of a boy climbing up the ranks with determination. You have to hire support staff, coaches, and fitness staff, manage sponsorship deals so that the player can be perfect enough to be chosen over the others. You can invest higher amounts of money by purchasing property (You will earn money of-course, which you have to spend)

Some of the other gameplay features are:

• Play in domestic tours, international tours, and the Cricket World Cup
• Plenty of statistics and charts
• Every career is different – there are plenty of random events and player types
• Negotiate contracts with different cricket clubs around the world
• Track your player’s career history and awards

This game is kinda different when it comes to cricket games, mostly because one would be bored with managing just one player, and the game ending after the player joins the national squad. This  is simply an interesting game, but with limits. So, reduce 0.5 stars for that.

You can also submit your high score (Earnings) on the site, which will be watchable around the world! :D Grab a star for that!

So, over all the features and other things, my rating of this game is: 4.6 out of 5 stars.
