Friends, today is a special day!

Its been 3 years for this blog and  it has received over half a million pageviews, it has also garnered around 400 mods for the game over the span of these many years.

Thanks to all of you regular viewers of the blog, and if you're new, thanks to you too! Thanks very much! :')

This World Cup has been simply fantastic, it has been record-breaking with the highest number of individual hundreds, 2 double hundreds, three 400s in an innings, and much more to enjoy! But there is one more thing to see, the World Cup 2015 has been record-breaking for us as well, just have a look! :)

It was a very dramatic year! From Corey Anderson scoring the fastest ODI hundred to Misbah scoring the fastest 50 in tests.

Well, there were more than 1,400 patches released in the year, still a 24% decrease, it was still good.

With GM StudioZ overtaking A2 in the number of patches, to the release of more cricket games than 2013.

Now a surely dramatic year, you cannot refuse it now. Well many records created and many broken. The year expanded to exact 365.25 days (We don't count the 0.25 :P ) Hell yeah! An year for debut players and many retired ones. From Corey Anderson and Akshar Patel rocking debuts to MS Dhoni declaring teat retirement at the last moment.

There surely are some good and bad memories, there is also a good reason to wait for 2015. No, I am not talking about another world end! :P The reason has to be very yours. And don't forget the ICC World Cup 2015.

I guess you all voted in the Patch of the year poll held on this blog! And most of you voted for 'GM StudioZ Cricket 14 Megapatch'

This is a big milestone for us, 100,000 pageviews is a big thing, and within 1 year. This is certainly a great achievement for me!

For the last 1 and a quarter years, I've been running this on my own, with one of my best friends for helping me out. Since that, it had been a failure for 4 months, a bit of recovery since then, but the last 7 months have been amazing for me, I thank you people came to this blog, and liked it if you did. :) We hope to provide you with all the latest patches for EA Cricket 07, till, then, I thank all of you again to come here. :)

Sincerely
Devesh Kumar

It's not actually a virus, but mind you, all your information is in danger, but how? Due to a fault in the 'OpenSSL' security language named 'Heartbleed'. Read this article from the Business Line newspaper and the impacts of the fault in India and other parts of the world.

Indian cyber security sleuths have alerted Internet users against a “highly severe” virus named ‘Heartbleed’, which has set alarm bells ringing across the globe for fear of exposing millions of passwords, credit card numbers and other sensitive information to hackers.

The virus prowling in the domestic arena, authorities said, attacks the openSSL of an online system which is the most essential protocol which encrypts information and data transfer over the Internet.
The Computer Emergency Response Team of India (CERT-In), the nodal agency to combat hacking, phishing and to fortify security-related defences of the country’s Internet domain, fears it could compromise personal data and passwords of a user.

“A vulnerability (heartbleed) has been reported in OpenSSL, which could be exploited by a remote attacker to disclose potentially sensitive information. The vulnerability is due to improper bounds checking while handling TLS/DTLS heartbeat extension packets.

“A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting crafted TLS or DTLS heartbeat packets to an affected device to retrieve sensitive information, such as private keys, user name and passwords or contents of encrypted traffic from process memory. By leveraging this information, an attacker may be able to decrypt, spoof, or perform man-in-the-middle attacks,” the CERT-In said in its latest advisory to Internet users in the country.

Categorising the severity of the virus as “high”, the agency said all unguarded or vulnerable online systems are prone to the virus’ attack.

The virus, with derives its name from a ‘bleeding red heart’ motif, has made a number of countries sit up and take notice of its destructive and threatening activities over the last few days.

Two days back, Canada’s tax agency had said that it has temporarily cut-off public access to its electronic filling services just three weeks before the tax deadline because of security concerns over the “Heartbleed bug”.

“It has been confirmed that the virus is active in the Indian cyberspace too. Some of its suspect messages also resemble a ‘red-coloured X’ motif similar to the red bleeding heart,” a cyber security expert told PTI.

So, to reduce the risk of losing your vital information, change passwords of all the important websites that contain valuable information such as 'Credit Card numbers, phone numbers, account no etc.' Rest all is on you, thanks for reading, and get to action soon. :)
Everyone is nearly waiting for the finals of this entertaining World T20, since the last 2 and a half weeks, India and Sri Lanka both have played fabulously! And no question that it will be an awesome contest!

But did you notice the Google doodle on google.co.in?

Google introduced the doodle at 12:00 PM  on 5th of April as the finals of the World T20 as to encourage its users, just in case you haven't seen the doodle yet, it's here:

Breaking news for all the A2 Studios fans, the A2 Studios blog is back with all the patches that you ever needed. This time, it won't probably deleted as there's no Blogger, it's Wordpress and it can only be deleted if a person charges it of using the website in the wrong manner. And that's never gonna happen. :P

So, their new address is a2studios.org. Organisation doesn't seem right, does it?

Just have a look at their new banner! :D

Good news for the fans who have been much awaiting for the news. The GM StudioZ have confirmed the World T20 2014 Megapatch! It will be on the pages before Sunday. :D

And that's not the end, they claim to add the DRS system in their further upcoming patches! Haha, it's an April fools joke. ;P

Keep Calm and Wait for it! ;)

The A2 Studios Blog is deleted, but you can get latest notifications on their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/A2.Studios So the patches won't work now, but as soon as they update their blog, I will add the new links to that. :)
