We all use Google, and it's the greatest thing ever built. Besides that, we all have wondered at some point of time we were searching, what's the 'I'm feeling lucky' button, and what does it do?
The 'I'm feeling lucky' button does something one wouldn't expect. If you type in, for ex- cricketmodders and click on the button, it will take you directly to cricketmodders.com. So it is actually a shortcut to take you directly to the most relevant search result, without letting you take the stress of finding results.
This might not work in some cases, as Google has disabled it in some browsers like Desktop Chrome, as the search results load instantly when you search and it doesn't keep it the traditional way. And also when you search a word not really relevant like 'aasbasaks' or any crap.
This single button costed Google around $100 million because it takes people directly to the best result, skipping all kinds of advertising, that might be the reason who they introduced the 'Instant Search' feature.
