We humans, we all know that we might have evolved from something like the apes, it's 80% possible (And the rest 20% goes to the Ancient Alien theory). Yesterday, I visited a place with the oldest traces of humans in India, and probably the whole Asia! :D
It is a simply marvelous place, with cave paintings, perfect rock layers, and beautiful scenes which make you say "WOW!" The place is Bimbetka, the oldest rock shelters in India, so far found. The place is almost 50 km from Bhopal, it's a real smooth drive along the highway with 6 lanes (Hoshangabad Road), you can take help of Google Maps to reach the place quickly.
The Snake shaped tree wood!

The plate declaring it a world heritage site!
As you go in, you get a feeling that you are an early man, living in the early stages of human evolution, 30,000 years ago (This cave is as old as 30-40,000 years) The place is really amazing. Here are some photos of the place:
The auditorium:
The cave paintings, probably much before you would think:
The Shelter that's really hard to find as it's hidden behind rocks that are unreachable and really slippery, so I went there and had a look at it:
The Snake shaped tree wood!
The unbelievably beautiful tree root between two rocks (This

Overall, it was a perfect place for archaeologists and people who wish to see some traces of ancient people! :D
